Not much time or energy for posting lately. One of the good things to come of the most recent visit to the hospital is a promotion at work. Take two weeks unpaid sick leave, and your fired. Right? That's what I expected.... but, no, I was told that I am now to head up the maintenance department.
This involves keeping detailed records of any and all repair work done to tractors or trailers, as well as handling road breakdowns, and making sure that repairs that need to be done get done either on the road or back at the shop when the driver returns to the terminal. We have about thirty trucks and fifty trailers, so there is more than enough work to be done. No wonder I'm tired.
